El Burrito Azteca - Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Portland, OR

We wanted Mexican food and a drink after a hike and we are so glad we came here! The salsa and guac was so good we took extra to go! Bartender was so nice and made a great margarita! We definitely won’t forget this spot and will come back!

I always come to this little spot because they have the sweetest people and the best tasting Mexican food in the block. They have a clean space to eat inside and also a few spots on the outside to enjoy the breeze in the evening. The roasted salsa always hits the spot and the green for those who can't handle a little spice . Thank you everyone for making food with love. Burrito Azteca saved my butt recently. I had an event that needed catering. The previous caterer backed out and I only had 2 days to figure out what to do. My friend suggested BA because she used to come by here after work and they were always kind to her. I called and the staff was so helpful and put me in contact with the owner so we could work something out. The food was absolutely delicious, people went back for seconds and thirds. The portions were very generous. I ordered for 25 folks but it could easily have fed 40. We had plenty left over. So if you need great catering, want to support a locally-owned business, or just want a really good burrito, you should check out Burrito Azteca.

Fantastic experience!! Food was so amazingly delicious! Highly recommend the Super Azteca Burrito and marinated pork taco. I usually don't like green salsa and it's the best ever!! Red salsa has a super good flavor as well. The staff were so kind and helpful! Loved getting to sit outside while eating. Nice inside dining area as well.

This place is a wonderful local restaurant with extremely friendly staff! They have apartments on the second level and my father-in-law lives in one and they’re always great people. I tried the shrimp burrito last time I went and you get a GIANT sized burrito for less than 8 bucks, with all quality ingredients. This is worth the stop and when I have friends or family in town, I take them here!! Great sauces, friendly service, food is delicious, they never disappoint.

We ordered catering recently and Mario could not have been nicer and more helpful! The food was delicious, and Mario and Mateo were so helpful the day of the event, getting everything set up and making sure everyone had what they needed. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you!

The food is really good and they are open late which is also really good. I got the alpastor burrito, it was super cheap and you get a whole burrito.

Never misses! I order burritos and the taco plate regularly and it's always great. The amount of food for the price is well worth it too!
